Excited the photos from the Las Vegas Model Search International - TopicsExpress

Excited the photos from the Las Vegas Model Search International are finished! I like them better than I thought I would. That got me thinking and I wanted to share something with you. I didnt think Id like my photos because I didnt feel as confident as I should have. I know I had been working out hard & eating well, but when I was surrounded by 40 beautiful ladies, many of them a size 0 or 2 it makes me feel a bit self conscious. I am a size 6 and I have always had an athletic build. I have never been a size 0 or 2 in my life life. The only way I could become a size 2 would be to drastically reduce calories (basically starving myself) & just do a lot of cardio. I would be so unhealthy and have no energy. That is not the best version of me I was created to be. See we need to strive to be our best, fittest selves in our best body type. I enjoy becoming stronger and eating healthy. By eating clean, unprocessed foods about 90% of the time I have the energy to run faster, lift heavier, jump higher, and push my body to new limits! My mind works better, I think more clearly, and the endorphins from exercise cause a natural high (natural depression cure)! I am a work in progress right now and still striving towards new goals but I have learned instead of wishing for a body type I will never have to just be the best version of me. God made me strong for a reason! An agency recently told me I needed to work on my hips because they were borderline plus size....Ok that kind of hurt at first and then I thought how proud I am of my strong legs and booty. I can squat a lot lol! Ive working towards being in the best shape of my life and finally learning how important good eating habits are! No I wont ever be a runway model but I can strive to be a fitness model, or enter a spartan race, or someday compete in a triathlon! Just do the most with what you are given Yall!!
