Excited to take my Journey of Motherhood picture today! My picture will be me in my SUPER MESSY car showing the reality of being a mom! Interested in being a part of Naperville Moms Network latest project and gallery art piece? See info below: In partnership with local photographer Terri Roper and birth doula and pregnancy massage therapist, Nicki Worden, NMN is working on a new project called A Journey of Motherhood. The mission of this project is to highlight the diversity, beauty and, quite frankly, the reality of being a mother. We are looking for 50 moms that would like to be showcased in a large art gallery piece. The finished piece will continue our mission of empowering and supporting moms in all aspects of life and will be first unveiled at Cafe N Play at a special event. We are looking for moms of all different backgrounds, nationalities, hobbies, religions, parenting choices, birthing choices, work status, etc. Each mom will have be scheduled for a photography session with Terri Roper Photography and a photo from that session will be selected by us to be a part of the piece. Many of the pictures we will be selecting will be the real, dirty dishes in the sink part of being a mom not just the perfect ones that you put on a Christmas card.
