Excitement is building. Its emails like this one from one of my contacts at Adventure Consultants in New Zealand that make me realize Im actually doing it! Today was a big day as Caroline (Everest Base Camp Manager) and I loaded all of the freight onto pallets, so that it could start its journey to Kathmandu. Items included new clothing for our wonderful Sherpa staff, NZ food items, radio equipment, solar panels, new tents and various other items that will make their way up to Base Camp prior to your arrival. I can imagine that you are very excited for your stay at the luxurious AC Everest Base Camp, and do pack your appetite! as Chhongba, our cook is known for making some very tasty treats for our base camp team. Not too long to go now!
