Exciting News About Commitment Weekend Dear Christ’s Greenfield Family, WOW! Commitment Sunday was a powerful day at Christ’s Greenfield. I don’t think we will forget the impact of coming up to the front and laying down our Join the Journey commitments before God. God is calling our church to big things ahead. I am so thankful you are a part of it. Hearing the stories of those who have committed truly inspires me, as your pastor. Thanks so much to all of you who have already turned in a commitment card as a statement that you are sacrificing radically to change lives through the ministry of Immanuel. A whole bunch of us—more than 203 givers have already turned in commitment cards. These commitments help us plan and move forward on the God-inspired journey we taking together as His church. I cannot wait to share the total with you very soon. But in the meantime, I wanted to share some initial excitement with you. • 12 families have committed to giving at CGLCS for the very first time • 49 families have committed to giving from their stored resources • 192 families have committed to increasing their regular annual giving But we really want everyone to have a chance to be a part of this before we announce the final dollar total. We know a few people have not been there the past two weekends or werent quite ready yet to turn in their cards. If you haven’t made a Join the Journey commitment yet, there is still time. My prayer is that we hear from everyone! Remember when it comes to our generosity, God doesn’t want something from us as much as He wants something for us.
