Exciting News!!! The support we have received from everyone over the years has been inspiring to us. We have achieved so much with the assistance of our supporters and for that we are truly grateful. With the success we have achieved, we have realized we do not have the means to answer all the calls for help we receive. While we realize that it is impossible to help every situation, it does not make it any easier to say “no” when we hear a story about a dog that so desperately needs our help. Our plan to address the 1000’s of calls and emails we are not fully able to support is simply..... “WE WILL GROW”. While the answer to our issue is simple, the execution of the plan is going to take more thought and planning. This is where we need your help!!! Dogs Deserve Better is going to bring on additional personnel to serve on the Board of Directors. We will be adding dedicated people with the desire to meet the Dogs Deserve Better mission. This is your opportunity to serve on the Board of Directors for a national and award-winning nonprofit organization. If you are passionate about being the voice for the dogs please stand up and make a difference today. We are looking to build an active Board of Directors to ensure our growth is well planned and sustainable. Board members do NOT need to be local to our headquarters in VA, as board meetings can easily be held virtually in todays technology.
