Exclusive Interview on Nationwide 90 FM - JLP Activist says he is in fear of his life after receiving a call from a prisoner saying he dissed JLP Dep. Gen. Secretary and Opposition Spokesman on ITC Andrew Wheatley. According to the Activist - Dalkeith Brown there was meeting at the JLPs Belmont Road Headquarters to select candidates for East Central St. Catherine - Brown and a group of local JLP activists wanted to inject former JLP candidate for North-West St. Catherine, Dr. Sandra Nesbeth on the run-off list but apparently, Wheatly felt dissed by Brown and further went ahead and slid his finger across his neck - signalling a death threat - later in the evening, Brown said he got a call from the prisoner - who has a known reputation from ordering murders from inside misprision saying yellow tape will roll... Brown said thats when he took the threat from Wheathly seriously and as such went to the police station to make a report. Police confirmed to Nationwides George Davis that a report was indeed made. When contacted, by Davis, Wheatley dismissed the claims as malicious and said his lawyers are following developments closely. Accordingly, Wheatley finds these allegations as proof that people will go to any length to get Dr. Sandra Nesbeth on the ballot for run off. Brown and a group of JLP Activist say all they want is for Nesbeth to be given a chance to represent the constituent since she has been done a wonderful job as a humanitarian in the constituency. On a final note, a direct quote from Brown reads: mi couldnt sleep, every sound mi hear mi look through mi window - thats after he made the report at the police station.
