Exclusive website of Legislative Assembly Srinagar: The Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Mubarak Gul today launched official website of Legislative Assembly. The website jklegislativeassembly.nic.in can be visited by the people to have any kind of information related to assembly business and other matters with regard to J&K legislative assembly. The Speaker described it as another achievement to facilitate people. He said information about present and previous Governors of J&K, Chief Ministers and Members is compiled. He said all the activities being carried out in the assembly have been complied and put under one Content Management System of Legislative Assembly. These included list of Business, Committees, Panel of Vice Chairman, Bulletins and notification, Constitution of J&K, Debates of Constituent Assembly, Assembly Debates on Autonomy Report, Information about members, awards and appreciations, road and procedures, legislation list of about 5400 books of both wings of assembly library with tittles and name of the authors, Annual Reports of the financial and other House Committees tabled during the budget session 2014, who’s who of the 11th J&K Legislative Assembly etc. Gul further said that hand book for the members and direction from the chair will also be available on this website in addition to day to day business. The Speaker said that in addition to this, the work of automation of question and answer information system is also under development which will be launched in due course of time after testing and imparting training to all the department of the J&K Government.
