Excuse me if I sound MORALISTIC... I am certainly not. All Global Sporting Events, be it Football, Cricket or anything..... yesterday or today it is an opportunity for capitalism and capitalists world over to make MORE and MORE and MORE money, PERIOD. Girls as young as 6 to10 are being trafficked in and around the great football matches that make many millions of PEOPLE glued to the TV sets around the world. The cheering and the fanfare belittles the future of these daughters-sisters-mothers and women, they could have been any bodys daughters-sisters-mothers,lovers, known & unknown women. I love football, I love sports but I hate CAPITALISM, the system that takes advantage of the popularity of sporting events and paralyses PEOPLE and benumbs them to the realities that surrounds them. Defeat and dump CAPITALISM, fight for an alternative of DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM where sports will and should remain just as SPORTS and NOT money making monster machines.
