Excuse the lateness of this, but we are only now back in the States after a trip of a lifetime. Thanks so much to 10th Planet crew, the Dimensions volunteers, and the many new friends here who made our first Dimensions such a great weekend. It was wonderful to have such one-on-one time with many of the actors and to hang out with so many of our fellow Who fans, ones who love the show but are more low-key about it than some of the crazies we have at cons here in the US. Hugging Paul McGann was my favorite moment, but other highlights were a silly elevator encounter with Katy Manning (and confusing her by telling her my name was Katie, too); dinner with Michael Troughton and the lovely Roxy; sharing a TARDIS with Lisa Bowerman; and finally meeting in person so many of the lovely people with whom I had been corresponding here on FB. We also enjoyed the signing in Barking, where my daughter (whom, you may recall, does a Fifth Doctor cosplay) was so excited to meet one of her companions, Sarah Sutton. Next weeks Long Island Who will have quite a bit to live up to in order to match the fun we had with all of you!
