Are you one of those special people? As an Executive Administrative Assistant with The Family Center of Hope youll be one of those special people! For The Family Center of Hope, an Executive Administrative Assistant is critical to our success and exemplifies the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day. Responsibilities: Provides administrative support to the Executive Director Serves as designee and has access for systems which may include: Outlook, budget and compensation tools, human resources information system transactions Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects Assists in making crucial decisions affecting the direction of such organizations, and is therefore a resource in decision-making and policy setting. Plans and coordinates new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, PTO, leave of absence, and employee assistance Prepares employee separation notices related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations Maintains medical, insurance, and other personnel records and forms. Assists in investigation and resolution of employee grievances and coordinates processes of responding to complaints Reviews personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness Takes and transcribes dictation, and composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents Provides support to the Board of Trustees by taking and distributing minutes and organizing and directing committees Directs preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings Plans, coordinates, and implements special events Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors Degree preferred, High School Diploma required Background in bookkeeping and accounting practices preferred Self-motivated individual with good initiative Proven ability to meet deadlines Strong Customer service skills Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to multitask Well developed interpersonal & communication skills, verbal and written Proficient in preparing and editing documents in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point Ability to maintain shared calendars and utilizes electronic mail platforms for communication Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Flexible and has the ability to collaborate well with individuals across, up and down the organization.
