Exhausted but thrilled. What a great weekend here in Italy, not much of a vacation for John, but Feature and I were both happy to have his support this weekend. Feature won both finals today and ended up with a silver medal in the biathlon and a bronze in the pentathlon at the World Agility Open. Very proud to be on Team Canada, what a fun, enthusiastic and very supportive group of teammates. Special thanks to our team managers Paula Collins and Brenda Juskow for being their for us…and to our team body therapists, Dr. Jennifer Webster and Carol Kramer Smorch for taking great care of everyone. WAO gets stronger and stronger every year. Nice to see some of the worlds best dog and handler teams at this years event (I wont name them because I dont want to miss out on anyone…but competition was at the WAOs all time best for sure). Thanks to the volunteers who made the event possible and of course to the entire WAO committee. Special shout out to my Australian students for their brilliant showing with their borrowed collies you guys looked fantastic! And finally to Feature, the best agility partner any handler could ever hope for. Love my dog :)
