Exhibition Ending Soon – Come and meet the Artist An exciting exhibition by Plymouth Artist, Paul Acraman in the Column Bakehouse and Cells at Devonport Guildhall will be ending on Saturday 27 September with a chance to meet the Artist. Paul is exhibiting his inspiring paintings of the local coasts that we Plymothians think of as our bit of seaside! From Whitsands to Burgh Island, stunning seas, rocks, rivers, beaches, colours and light. The Exhibition is open from 10am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday until September 27. Entry is free and you will also be able to meet the artist on the closing date! Paul has lived in and been painting Plymouth for 34 years. He uses watercolours, acrylics and oils so there really is something for everyone to see here! Paul has been very excited about exhibiting in such an amazing, and iconic local location as the Devonport Guildhall. He says “so many Plymouth people haven’t seen any of the Old Devonport since it has been regenerated and opened up again. The area is brilliant to see now with the Guildhall and the Column right next to it. You can climb up (if you dare) and see nearly the whole of the city from a completely different viewpoint”. The Kaya Gallery on the Barbican is curating this exhibition and refreshments are available from the Column Bakehouse Cafe. More information about Paul and his paintings can be found at paulacramanartist.co.uk and you can follow him on Facebook by searching for Paul Acraman Artist.
