Exhibitors wanted for Fit Christchurch Fun Day The Fit Christchurch Fun Day is returning to Christchurch Quay on Saturday 14 September and the organising team is looking for exhibitors and service providers to take part. This year marks the fifth Family Fun Day and a return to Christchurch Quay after the event was held in conjunction with the Olympic Torch Relay celebrations in July last year. The Fun Day is scheduled to take place from 10am to 4pm with an aim to exhibit and promote healthy lifestyle choices and provide opportunity for residents and visitors to try out products, activities and healthy food – as well as have some fun. A wide range of physical and fun activities are already booked but any organisations which aim to promote a healthy lifestyle are invited to come along and let people know what they have to offer. The Fit Christchurch Event Manager, Pete Griffiths, said: “We want to give people the chance to try out sports and fitness activities for themselves and would encourage any sporting organisations or clubs in the local area to come along to try to boost their membership or demonstrate some of their activities.” Exhibitors and service providers interested in participating in this year’s event should contact Pete Griffiths on 01202 477987 or email [email protected].
