Exit Presidential Aspirants Debates, enter Bogus Opinion Polls. Professor John Chisi and a few others had spoken very well during the debates and had articulated policies that could change Malawi. For instance, the professor had talked about job creation, something that Malawi needs, not 20 or 30 universities including MUST when the industry is not ready to absorb the graduates. A few days ago I was on a panel interviewing graduates who want to become translators. Its a pity looking at their excellent CVs but no jobs. Back to the main topic: the debates once again are a complete waste of time in Malawi as they are of NO CONSEQUENCE! Until that day when Malawians will learn to vote for policies and not fanaticism, the debates will remain a FRUITLESS UNDERTAKING. The battle is among the BIG 4, FULL STOP!
