Exo Terra MVB Review !!!!!!!! What Heating/lighting are you using ??? We have now switched 90% of our bulbs over to the new improved Exo Terra MVB solar Glow abdfreptilesupplies.au/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=223. We are having great results from using these bulbs so thought i would write a small review. They are the strongest and highest of quality we have seen and used in a MVB. The light output is very clear and produces a nice natural even light with a nice spectrum. No yellow tinges as other MVB have given off. The actual filaments seem very strong and and can handle a few knocks without breaking and proved this with our freighting. They have even passed the power surge test were many MVB fail to switch back on or even keep performing. The 125w produce a nice even basking zone positioned 30-40cm from basking area. At this distance with our August weather we are experiencing temps of 39-42 which is spot on for our dragons. They produce everything we need in a bulb for our dragons, both UVA/UVB as well as give off heat and light, what a bulb ;-) Not only have we seen an increase with behavior and appetites though also curing early stages of MBD (metabolic bone disease). So it looks like Exo Terra have outdone themselves here and with all the research the company puts into their lighting its not surprising we now have an ultimate basking bulb for our dragons.
