Experience the world through International Study Travel and Service Learning opportunities! Global citizenship is a key 21st century skill essential for academic and professional success. The International Study Travel and International Service Learning programs promote in-depth exploration, greater cultural understanding, and hands-on learning tied to the curriculum in countries throughout the world. The 2015 programs include opportunities for FCPS students grades 5-12 (students in grades 5-6 must be in the Spanish immersion program) throughout Europe, Costa Rica, the Galapagos, and China and focus on language immersion, service learning, leadership summits, environmental science, global diplomacy, and Career and Technical Education.
