Experienced Dispatcher Needed Immediately (Dallas) Seeking experienced trucking dispatcher must have 3 plus years experience. You must be able to negotiate solid rates with brokers. This is a full time position working with multiple drivers. We are looking for an experienced and professional over-the-road trucking dispatcher to coordinate and assign movements of drivers, shipments, and deliveries. This position requires daily communication with drivers, customers, shippers, receivers, and management. The selected individual must be able to coordinate driver schedules and be available at all times to answer any questions. We are look for strong personalities... The dispatcher: Must have excellent and strong communication skills. Must be able to work under pressure and deadlines. Will keep track of drivers. Must be able to use load boards within the company and handle a large call volume. Must be able to organize and prioritize the order of calls. Must be able to utilize spreadsheets and systems to control cost. Must be able muli-task paperwork and and financials. Must be able to handle any request and complaint from customers and to be able to correct any problems. Must also be available and on call all hours of the day and night in case of an emergency.
