Experienced producer required to take partially funded WW1 short film Attrition through from script to screen. Director/Writer Kelly Holmes has just won 2nd place in the Enter The Pitch competition, pitching at Pinewood Studios and securing £2.5k in funding and exec producer support. Kelly has matched this funding within a couple of days to a start up fund of £6k. Another £2-4k is being sought from investors this week. A crowd funding campaign is required to double the budget to around £18-20k. The story surrounds a young private soldier on the front line of WW1 who predicts the first gas attacks at Ypres in 1915. A pitch video was produced and pitched at Pinewood Studios last weekend, receiving great critical appraise for its original take on the genre from judges such as Interstellars David Gyasi and Empire magazines editor in chief Nev Pierce. The pitch video can be viewed here: https://vimeo/107328731 Single or multiple producers could be considered depending on specialisms - however experience of larger budget shorts is essential as this is an ambitious project. Line producing/production managing/crowd funding experience will all be useful, and will be considered if someone wants to step up to the role.
