Experiencing finality is a very difficult process for all of us as humans. Today is a very strained and sad day for me to face, attending funeral services are always difficult … but when it is a friend of 30 plus years it really hits home. Reflections and memories of our travels through life run as movies in my head. In friendships as in relationships we as humans of strong minds, opinions and beliefs do not always agree and get along – that does not diminish the love and respect. “Millie J”, as I called her, was a very strong, tough woman both vocally and in her actions and beliefs. I on the other hand have always been emotionally weak, a crier and abused to the point of I didn’t know how to stand up for myself. Millie J was like the strong person I could never be; she was tough, spoke out and stood up for what she believed … I personally admired that trait in her. Years have gone by and we are older and more mature in our thoughts and actions. My respect for her never wavered. I am thankful that we were able to make our amends before her demise. I feel blessed to have known such a women of her strength. All my love and care goes out to her Children, Grand-Children and immediate family. You are now able to rest My Dear Millie J.
