Experimenting. I am smoking a roast shoulder pork in the BBQ using these wood chips. On for 30 minutes at 220 degrees, then 45 - 50 minutes for every kilo at 150 - 160. I will put the tray of veggies in halfway through the first 45 minutes. Swap n Go 8.5kg gas bottles are on special $25 each at Woolworths servos, wood chips are $14.95 a 800g bag and roast pork shoulders are $6/kg at Coles. So why wouldnt you give it a go?
