Experts estimate that approximately 90% of children in southern Israel struggle with symptoms related to PTSD. We as a community work so hard to physically protect each other in times of conflict. But when the dust settles, we need to work just as hard to help families recover both mentally and psychologically from the violence that unfortunately happens all too often in Israel. מפעלות חינוך וחברה - Mifalot: Sport for Education, Development and Peace in partnership with J Cubed Communications is excited to announce the launch of a campaign to bring post-trauma sport programs to children living in southern Israel and to rebuild a soccer field at Kibbutz Mefalsim (1 km from Gaza) to serve as the center for these types of programs in the region. Sports is truly amazing in its ability to teach, heal and empower those in need. Join this project and as a community, we can bring fun and positivity back into these childrens lives.
