(Name taken from the character in Dickens novel David Copperfield. Formed in 1969 in London, Uriah Heep were considered to be one of the seminal bands from the late 60s and early 70s. In the true tradition of Progessive/Art Rock/Heavy Metal Fusion, Uriah Heep were among the top groups of their day although they are considered to be a bit of a dark horse as not too many people remember them.
