Exploring some ideas for informal, less structured worship. One of them is what I would call no-bake worship. Kind of like no-bake cookies, theres little or no preparation. People would gather, choose some songs to sing, do some impromptu prayer, and then based on a Scripture (which might be the only predetermined part of the service), they would crowd source topics or questions to explore more deeply - with people sharing as they feel led. Perhaps a pre-selected minister or lay leader would offer a longer reflection - but not a full sermon. Has anyone done worship like this? Any comments or suggestions to share?
