Export Administrator Location: Johannesburg Salary: On Application Sector: Admin EE Position: No Job Type: Contract Closing Date:03 February 2015 Reference: MS-City-EA Job Purpose: Administer export shipments from order to arrival at destination DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIE Administration Monitor export shipments from order to arrival at destination * Process enquiries and firm orders * Follow up stock availability on firm orders, liaise with client to pack their orders according to stock availability * Instruct warehouse to pack * Invoice orders * Do customs documents, type packing list / framing entries * Verification / compilation of export documentation * Dispatch orders to forwarder. (Local logistic companies liaison) * Follow up with forwarder and inform client of dispatching details * Reconciling and preparing payment for freight companies * Covering export support relationship with customers, banks, DTI, etc. * Understand cross border procedures and inco-terms. * Order recons / filing * New VAT Act Behavioral Attributes * Good communication skills * Ability to work quickly and accurately * Able to help customers in a friendly and efficient manner * Good organizational skills (timekeeping, punctuality and reliability) * Professional appearance * Ability to work well with others - a team player * Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism Qualifications * Matric supported by export related graduated courses/training * Export- commercial experience. * Computer literate - Microsoft office full spectrum minimum * French speaking - an advantage * SAP AND COMPU-CLEARING To secure an interview, contact Mini or Thuli at Cozens TODAY on 011 492 1515 or send your C.V. to thuli.adams@ cozens.co.za .
