Express Employment Professionals is recruiting in Jamestown, NY for an Experienced Space Planner. The job description is as follows the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the daily activities of the space planning team. In addition, the candidate will be expected to create space plans and handle multiple projects and deadlines in a timely and efficient manner. Assists in maintaining and updating visualization tools (symbol libraries), interface with both internal and external customers, conduct follow-up on opportunities, provide cost estimates to clients, and contribute towards space planning team process improvements. REQUIREMENTS: Associate Degree in Interior Design, Commercial Interiors, Drafting or Architecture and 2 – 5 years design experience. Candidate must have knowledge of commercial office furniture industry and dealerships as well as proficiency in 20/20 Giza Studio, 20/20 CAP Studio, AutoCAD and MS Office Suite. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are preferred for this position. Candidate must be able to act as a consultant to understand the needs of clients and translate them into proposals; must be professional, proactive with a desire to close deals; must demonstrate the ability to research and create process improvements. The hours are M-F; 5-3:30pm, with a pay rate of $10.50 but room to advance, this is an evaluation to hire position.
