Expressions of interest 6 month lease Jackson (Mickey Jay Legal) is a 15.1h 7yo Standardbred gelding. Walk/trot/canter no pacing. In his first season competing this year, he has been to a couple of shows and dressage comps up to Prelim for some success. Brisbane Royal Show 12/8/14 2nd place ridden Standardbred 4th place best presented 5th place led gelding Beaudesert Ag Show 6/9/14: 1st led gelding Champion led standardbred 1st novice standardbred under saddle 2nd open standardbred under saddle Easy to catch, float, wash. Barefoot, stands perfect for farrier. Hendra vaccinated Can be a bit girthy, and is a herd boss. Bit cranky and bossy around other horses. Very quiet on ground and under saddle, no buck, rear, bolt and hardly ever spooks. Can take him trail riding and canter along on a loose rein. Took the atmosphere at Brisbane Royal Show all in his stride. Minimal experience with traffic but seems fine. I have put a lot of work into this horse, training him from green off the track. He will only be available to a loving, experienced home on the Gold Coast who can continue his education. My ultimate preference would be for him to stay at his current agistment in Clagiraba (full facilities and owner lives on site) but may accept an off property lease for the right person.
