External scholarship candidates who are applying for Group B in the UK, US, Ireland, The Netherlands and Austria: please see below the added specific courses/majors per existing general area of study (= existing codes) in these 5 study destinations; please note that all the existing codes or general areas of study remain the same (please refer to the HEAC handbook and the previous announcements on the HEAC website). Also, you do not need to select your preferred course/major at this stage (you will do this through the external scholarships dept system, not through the HEAC electronic system) and the most important action is that you already selected the general area of study to which these courses/majors belong. Please research the program structure of the courses before you select and please note that although you may meet the general selection criteria applying to a particular code, specific course requirements may apply and/or the seats per some of the courses listed above will be limited if the demand exceeds the number of seats; in this case preference will be given to the candidates with the highest grades while candidates not selected for this particular course will have to enroll in another course in the same area of study. The list of majors and courses may still be subject to change, external scholarship candidates will be notified about these changes before August 13. Please note that under no normal circumstances will a student be allowed to change the area of specialization or to move to another study destination once they have been awarded and have accepted a scholarship in a certain general area of study and destination.
