Extra Education Translates to Academic Dedication in Job Applications BY WENJUN CHEN As a senior with less than a month till graduation, the achievement of a UNC Business Essentials certificatenot only helps to enhance my bachelor’s degree from a prestigious university, but also, shows my academic dedication and my desire to attain professional success in the business world. Before taking the UNC Business Essentials course, I had no intention of participating in business field and did not think that I would eventually want to pursue higher education in the field of accounting. Through my studies within the UNC Business Essentials program, I discovered my growing interest in accounting and my commitment to pursue further education in business. The opportunity to serve as an ambassador of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business Essentials Program has been a blessing and remains one of the best parts of my Carolina experience. Being an ambassador for the UNC Business Essentials program has not only provided me with the wonderful opportunity to receive business education, which I otherwise could not afford, but also provided me with the amazing opportunity to meet and work with a group of student ambassadors and business professionals who have helped to both deepen my understanding of business and enrich my academic life.
