Extra volunteer work at Stour Valley Arts It’s a busy time this summer at Stour Valley Arts, with new exhibitions, a forest event and more. We have a small pool of great volunteers here but could do with more. Days & hours to suit you but enthusiasm is a must! We are looking for extra volunteers to help in 3 areas; Invigilators – manning the gallery during the show over the 6-week period (20th July – 31st Aug. You would either cover the 11-1.30 or the 1.30-4pm shift and would be able to do the same shift each week. The gallery is open Weds – Saturday. Hospitality – you would be helping to prepare for and be present at our opening launch (20th July) and Talk event (17th Aug). Re-hanging the exhibition over 2 days - 12th & 13th Aug. You will be helping with de-installing some of the art works & packing them up, a gallery re-paint, and installing new works. If you’d like to find out more, just get in touch.
