Extremely disappointed about this evenings free showing of Heaven is For Real. The invitation I received via email from B&B said nothing about limited seating or that seats were reserved for members of certain churches. Showed up, stood on line over an hour. Finally decided to enter the theatre to speak with the manager who said there was no chance of ANYONE that was outside the theatre doors to get in to see the movie. I suggested that since there was a line outside with over 700 people on line that a theatre representative should go out and explain the situation. He said that he would (during the period of time that I was there, he had not explained anything to the waiting crowd) When I asked the manager for an email address or phone number to speak with upper management he deflected the blame onto SONY. The invitation that I received via email said nothing about limited seating. It did however say it would admit up to 4 people. The B&B management should have explained to the people upon arrival that they had already reached theatre capacity. Since that was not handled, there were many disappointed folks waiting, including my family. An event that could have been beneficial to the community and a sign of good will towards the Wylie community was a missed opportunity for B&B, probably did more harm to their reputation than good. If this situation was managed correctly and people were informed of the capacity issue via email or upon arrival, most people, including myself, would have been understanding of the situation.
