Extremism.. Every day I read about the GOP saying something crazier then the one before. Like today, Ted Cruz said Reversing citizens united would lead to Saturday night live getting arrested. Ludicrous yes it is, but people listen and LOATH over this kind of insubordination. Hell, look at Fox News ratings time and time again. Look at all the insanely stupid things they say yet continue to be number 1 in viewership. My point is we need Democrats with thicker skin and a dont-give-a-shit attitude about reactions from the Republicans. Wild rhetoric is something Dems veer away from when they should be running towards it. Guess what, this peaceful approach is not helping our chances for re-taking the House and holding the Senate. There needs to be louder voices throwing all kinds of leftist agenda items into the media, but in a way that goes far beyond the actual point. Make it NUTS, make it LOUD, make it so insane that the right feels the same way about our voices and insanity as we do about theirs. Want to win more elections? Stop with the intellectual approach, its not effective. This is a battle for the future, let everything in the arsenal out to crush those bastards in November. The left desperately needs a Carl Rove as a facilitator for this new direction. Its the only way to drag the right back to the center left where they belong.
