Extremism on any side is a dangerous thing. I here of the Grace movement that anchors its belief on the fact that the Righteousness of God is imputed in us making us righteousness not because we did anything but because we believe in Christ. By faith then we are made righteous before God, no need of works. This is true, we are made righteousness not by works of the law, but by faith. But The balance of this in Pauls statement in Galatian 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by (faith in) Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. and James in James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. I make bold to say when these scriptures are considered properly that we are justified by faith in Christ, thereby we receive the imputed righteousness of God and are made righteous not by any work of the law. But our faith, righteousness and profession is made perfect when we work out what we have in us (The imputed righteousness of God). This work now gives us no room for boasting, for it is work of righteousness done by us because God put it in us, working in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. By faith you were made righteous, Yes! Now lets see the righteousness in you worked out.
