Eye opening experience for some at the Thursday class. Facing - TopicsExpress

Eye opening experience for some at the Thursday class. Facing multiple attackers is a formidable experience. We looked at two strategies, fighting back or evasion. Fighting back when you have no other choice and evasion to escape the scene. Both have skills that must be trained frequently. When fighting back you must have attacks that stop the attackers, you need to be able to redirect your opponents and deliver attacks from a unprepared position. This favours vital target attacks. Eyes, groin and throat. When evading you need to see the gaps and get through them at all cost. Both strategies require a degree of stamina and explosive power. Again skills that need to be trained. The purpose of this training is to dissolve the myths out the about multiple/gang attacks. As a note, we try to keep these tests safe, but in reality you will need to go "ferrel" if you choose to fight back. The crash attack, eye pokes, a knee stomp and a power strike are all skills to develop. During training eye pokes and knee stomp are always controlled.
