Eye update 2015 a new year. Approximately 10 months ago I began to have significant left eye problems. I basically stopped using my left eye. I drive, type and read one eyed. I was tested for new eye wear and fitted for a new pair of glasses yesterday. I was disappointed that my binocular vision didnt return. I was (still am) having double vision. However, Ive was able to drive myself home from the YMCA USING BOTH EYES. I had forgotten (unlearned) how to use both eyes together. I am having to learn how to make both eyes work in conjunction with each other. Ive never heard of such a thing. My new eye wear is amazing, but Ive forgotten how to see. Theres a movie out there about a man who has his vision restored, but cant make sense of the images: I feel like that character. It is so odd. And, I have another sugery in my future and bifocals at some point. I am almost afraid to dtive with both eyes open. I guess it is one day at a gime.
