Eynsham fish & chip shop - Decided to try it tonight as it had changed hands, we maybe have fish & chips once or twice a year. Usually its so bad we dont bother having it often. My quest is to find a good one. So your thinking Im going to say Eynsham is good ha well your wrong!. Our visit tonight went like this my order simple small cod with small chips and two plain normal sausages. My wifes chicken & mushroom pie with small chips and a saveloy sausage and gravy. First we had no chicken & mushroom pie going into the bag this was rectified and I then paid for it another £2.20 on top of the £12.90 we had already paid making it £15.10. So we went through the order again and they had added in another large chips which we had not ordered. So they took those out then refused to give us the money back for the chips. At this point I was getting very angry and decided they could keep the extra money they had over charged us, before I threw the lot back at them!. Getting home and bear in mind I hadnt eaten all day, I dish it up and low and behold my sausages were not in the bag. My blood was boiling at this point and if I hadnt been so hungry I would have taken the lot back. So not only have I been ripped off and fleeced completely the food was cold and bloody awful. So my conclusion is Im never ever going back to this establishment again.
