F-18 aircrafts aboard USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) are launched to conduct or support strikes against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. The U.S. strikes were conducted as part of the Presidents comprehensive strategy to degrade and destroy ISIS. The destruction and degradation of ISIS targets in Syria and Iraq further limits the terrorist groups ability to lead, control, project power and conduct operations.
