F.R.J. Chronicles: Some of you may not realize that I have a NEWER job now than my LAST new job a few months ago. Thats one of the reasons why this title is different from the New Job Chronicles...so anywho, Ive already told you about my little buddies and the other know it all buddy that sits with me during lunch. This is about them: ok so..now we are out of training and on our own. We communicate via Outlook instant messages..things like hey- what time today or hey- did you get the right answer to such n such? Or (me) let me know when the supervisor is coming so I can put my phone up.. you know..that sort of thing. So yesterday, im doing my job and my supervisor wants to go over a few things with me and called me to her office. She has pulled some of my work up on her computer and showed me where I was struggling in certain areas. Which really means I been effin UP!! She was VERY nice about it though and prefaced our meeting with im gonna talk to each of you individually to make sure you all have the hang of it- but im gonna start with you. As she is going through my work, she pulled one example up where she was SOO excited that I got this one right! She went on and on telling me that people that have been here for YEARS wouldnt have gotten this one right but I did. I was crackin up on the inside because I truly did NOT know what the HECK or HOW I did it right but that mustve been one of the times that Jesus carried me cause everything else was suspect. Ok so all day, I was waiting to see if my buddies were gonna be called in for their own meeting- and ALL DAY, none of them were called. I was trippin! I packed up my lil office kit ( pics of the family, troll dolls, candy jars etc) cause I KNEW I was fired. I IMd my buddies asking them if our boss was gonna meet with them. They said no (in that way like they feel bad for me but happy it aint them) I havent heard anything but im sure youre gonna be fine Regina! Well this morning, my know it all buddy called herself trying to encourage me by giving me little tips that she lives by since she got here (the same day as me) and hopefully, I will be able to use them. I told her thanks and went on my way. 10 minutes later...she had her meeting and the rest of them followed. Oh so we was ALL effin up huh?? Moral of the story: just wait. Dont UNpack until they tell you to!!! #stillblessed
