[F]ilm Review : Fujifilm Superia X-tra 400 Superia X-TRA 400 Film sets a high standard but inexpensive consumer grade film that delivers excellent results when shooting action subjects or in low- light conditions, and is especially suited for use in compact, automatic cameras which is sufficient to cover on indoor/outdoor condition (with light source).The grain structure is medium, not ultra fine, normally i did slightly overexpose 1/2 stop +ev to produce smooth and beautiful fair skin tones under daylight (not that warm compare to Kodak Ultramax 400). As usual say FUJIFILM we think of Green! YES! Color balance tends towards green and sometime red depend on the light condition , by referring to data sheet it is stated fuji xtra provide great vividness accurate rendition of hard-to-reproduce colors, such as violet and certain greens. Was this film as good as Fujifilm Pro400h? No, of course not. It has more noticeable grain, and the sharpness is much more degrade when you shooting on back light condition by comparing to Pro400h.But it a fraction of the price, Fuji Superia X-tra 400 is still the great film to have on hand!
