FACEBOOK PENNY FOR A LIFE APPEAL WOULD YOU GIVE ONE PENNY TO SAVE SOMEONE’S LIFE? Our Maternity Unit located in a remote area of Eastern Rwanda is now very near completion – thank God! Soon pregnant women in difficulty will not need to walk up to 40kms. for help. Many women have already lost one baby and some have died on the way to get help. It was not the original plan that I would provide the equipment, but things change! However, I now have all the absolutely essential equipment, but need to pay for the transport to Rwanda. Being a landlocked country, the shipment has to go to Tanzania and then by road on a tedious journey to Kigali. If everyone on FacebooK in the UK gave one penny this would raise more than enough to transport all the goods and then start building the rest of the health centre so that we could fight all kinds of sickness, give advice on birth control (this has been agreed already with the authorities), and AIDS. Why not then ask family members and physical friends to donate one penny, then we may even have enough money to finish the complete Health Centre. That would be just wonderful!!!
