FACT: This bond is primarily focused on increasing the ES capacity in the district. In fact, 83 percent of this bond is dedicated to facilities. We ran ES capacity down to nothing - that did not happen overnight. Capacity should run no more than 90 percent overall to allow for normal fluctuations in population to prevent continual ad-hoc zoning/feeder adjustments. Look at this slide to wrap your brain around how deep a hole we dug ourselves. Even with this bond - if growth projections are correct - we are still not out of the woods folks. And folks want to wait.....? SMH. Start digging.......
