FACULTY ACCOMPLISHMENT Dr. Shawn Apostel presented at the following: Panel, “Moving a Campus to a new LMS - 2 Schools Approach” with presentations by Debi Griffin, Brian Henry, Eric Satterly (Bellarmine University), Sheri Riddle, and Cassidy Palmer (Murray State University) at the Kentucky Convergence Conference, Louisville, November 14, 2014. Invited Address, Bellarmine University: Move to Moodle, with Derick Hill, Kentucky LMS Administrators’ Meeting, University of Louisville, Shelby Campus, November 12, 2014. Panel Co-Chair, “The Role of Visual Rhetoric in Environmental and Intellectual Sustainability” with presentations by Rusty Carpenter, Karen Head, Jacob Craig, and Moe Folk at South Atlantic Modern Language Association, Atlanta, November 7, 2014. Dr. Gail Henson began her tenure as Chair of the Community Advocacy Committee of the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky in November. Dr. Henson has recently been approved for membership in the Grants Committee and the Ambassador Committee of the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky. Dr. Henson, in her role as member of the Executive Committee of the Kentucky Community and Technical Colleges Board of Regents, assisted in the selection of Dr. Jay Box as the new President of the KCTCS System. Dr. Kyle Barnett was awarded a faculty development grant for 2015. He will use it to develop an online media archive to showcase Bellarmine and Louisville history.
