The chairman said voting for APC in the general election would definitely bring the country back to the era of tyrannical government, saying that, the APC presidential candidate, Gen Muhammadu Buhari was incapacitated to rule the country. Olaoluwa lambasted the APC led government in Osun, saying APC leaders are bunch of liars who knew nothing except dishing out propaganda. He also alleged that Governor Rauf Aregbesola has misappropriated state funds and committed it to huge debt that now hangs on the neck of the state.f He therefore appealed to all eligible voters who are yet to go and collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to do so in order not to be disenfranchised. Meanwhile, Prince Adenigba Fadahusi, the senatorial hopeful, expressed optimism that, PDP would win all the seats in the state in the upcoming general elections, adding that, he was very sure that the people of Osun are tired of the highhandedness of the government of the day. Fadahunsi urged electorates in the areas to wake up on the election day as early as 6:00am in the morning and move to their various polling units to cast their votes and stay back to defend it, saying he was contesting to salvage the people of the constituency from the hand of the wicked people who according to him, have failed to give proper representation at the federal level. Describing the youths as leaders of tomorrow who deserves proper care at all time, Fadahunsi enjoined them to vote for PDP, saying it is only PDP that can provide them lucrative jobs, adding that APC does not have such capacity to absorb the teeming unemployed youths in the state. Echoing the same view, Hon. Oluwole Oke, promised to deliver good representation to his people. He said, youths would be employed, and that market men and women, artisans and other groups would also benefit from his welfare packages if elected. Oke who stated that he had done a lot for the people of the area when he was serving them at the House of Representatives, gave the assurance that potable water, electricity, qualitative education, infrastructures, among other facilities would be provided for the people of the constituency. He recounted that, when he was in the house, including Senator Omisore, they influenced the establishment of Federal College of Education at Ibokun and federal government approved it but that it was quite unfortunate that the project was stopped because of change in the government at the state level. He, therefore, promised to revisit the school project, just as he vowed to facilitate more projects to the area, if elected. Also, PDP bigwigs at the event like Prof Wale Oladipo, PDP National scribe, Mayowa Adejorin, Olusola Komolafe, Bar.
