FADER Mix: Egyptrixx (16th January 2015) info: When we commission FADER Mixes, were usually pretty relaxed about what artists turn in—at least 30 minutes of music would be nice say, we say. Toronto producer Egyptrixx went above and beyond the call of duty for his contribution to the series, turning in a 3 hour mix with a low key note: This is just a collection of fun sounds/ideas that somehow ended up on the new album. Its much more than that, though—its like standing in a forest, feeling a sky full of tones and textures gently raining down on your skin. The album hes talking about is Transfer of Energy [Feelings of Power], which follows his 2011 and 2013 albums on London label Night Slugs.
