You should have the following information and documents with you to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): • Your driver’s license number if you have one • Your Social Security number or Your Alien Registration Number or Green Card (Not Dreamer number) • Your income/financial information: o Bank Statements, o W-2’s or Pay Stub o And if possible past (or current) tax return • A parents’ Social Security number o Note-if student has SSN but parents don’t enter 000-00-0000 for them • Parents Income/Financial information o Bank Statements, o W-2’s or Pay Stub o And if possible past (or current) tax return o Other Sources of income Child support statements TANF or welfare information Investment income Family Business/Farm Business income NOTE: If you do not have a SSN submit a WASFA form not the FAFSA. Do NOT use a DREAM Act number for FAFSA! NOTE: All males must register for Selective Service to be FAFSA Eligible. Use sss.gov to sign up for Selective Service. Do NOT use the FAFSA process as it can delay your Student Aid Report (SAR)
