FAIL PROOF hard boiled eggs!!!! Right from the Weight Watchers food preparation guide. Forget all of the baloney of adding stuff to the water-- vinegar, baking soda.... phooey Ive tried it all. It is about HOW they cook. Here is how according to WW: Set your eggs in the pot. Add your cold tap water to the pot - 1 inch above the eggs. Bring to a boil uncovered. As soon as the water boils, turn your stove off and cover your eggs and remove from heat. Leave covered in the pot removed from burner for 15 minutes. As soon as the timer goes off, plunge the eggs into ice cold water. Leave in ice water for another 15 minuntes. Peel. The shells slip right off. The eggs are cold and fully cooked and can be used right away.
