FAILURE IS AN OPTION Just finished watching Ron Howards Apollo 13. I disagree when Ron states that his greatest movie to date is SPEED. Just my opinion but Apollo 13 to me is far better. I was in Junior High at the time. Ed Harris is great at Mission Control Flight Director, but even he got it wrong. Ed Stated Failure is not an option. In reality Failure was around every corner of their mission. From when they performed the stir and cause the explosion to creating a way to get rid is the carbon monoxide in their air. Thank God that the NASA team and 3 Astronauts were at a level of training to their positions and not hired to fill a quota.
