Retired Sergeant Del Braund from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office will conclude the event with playing of the bagpipes. The monument committee wishes to have the memorial to serve as connection not only to those who were lost on the planes, in the towers and the first responders but also the men and women who serve now, have served or made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
