FAIRYHOUSE 12.40 The Tullow Tank. E/W (N.B) Rare for second-season novice to be so fancied as he is likely to be here but seems to have bright future, beating very promising stablemate Real Steel here in bumper by 9l in March (race worked out very well); 9-4, readily beat Willie Mullins hotpot in Naas maiden hurdle last month and expected to be better going right-handed; likely wants further but looks smart. 1.10 Don Cossack. (NAP) Raced almost exclusively on bad ground but travelled strongly on yielding latest; useful novice hurdler pulled 12l clear of the others when beaten 1/2l by likeable staying type over 2m6f at Punchestown in November, having jumped brilliantly in Galway maiden win; looks a bit soft in a battle but has loads of ability and seemingly sure to go close. 1.45 Ballinahow Lady. E/W Tough type in the first three most of her 17 chase starts and earned Grade 3 victory in gutsy style last month at Thurles, seemingly appreciating strong pace; was far longer in betting then than Avondu Lady, solid place chance. 2.15 Jezki. Class act of these, 6-7 hurdling and only defeat when third in Supreme Novice Hurdle when ordinary gallop was against him; did what was needed on reappearance if a bit keen; racing style hardly screams want for 2m4f but bred to get it and should, in which case he should win this. 2.50 Thelobstercatcher. E/W Form of second to Baily Dusk in Clonmel certainly reads well but a long way behind that rival when struggling at Thurles since; stays quite well but needs to bounce back and not the easiest to predict. 3.20 Value At Risk. Big price in hot Punchestown bumper in April (soft) but ran excellent race behind Very Wood, who contests the Royal Bond; form worked out very well in general and should be hard to oppose for yard in form. LEICESTER 2.05 The Potting Shed. Already looks a better chaser than hurdler, winning at Worcester in October and then second off this mark at Warwick (2m4f, good to soft). CARLISLE 1.55 Herdsman. Hurdles wins early in the year came in the mud and appreciated the testing conditions when grinding it out off 8lb lower a few weeks ago; quite lightly raced still and will come firmly into calculations if there is plenty of raceday rain. 3.00 Amore Mio. Nothing like the force of old but won for the first time since 2009 at Ayr (3m, soft) last month, scoring by over 4l, and no surprise if he follows up off 7lb higher, especially if Hartforth, who chased him home last time, runs well in the 2.25. 3.30 Moscow Presents. E/W Lost his way for Donald McCain early in the year and no signs of a revival on his debut for current yard a few weeks ago; has it to prove currently. HOPEFULLY THESE SELECTIONS ARE BETTER THAN SATURDAYS!! BUT WE DID GET OUR MONEY BACK ON THE 10/1 SOCCER ACCUM... COME ON, MORE MONEY!!! :)
