FAITH IN DIVINE DIRECTION - 2 SAMUEL 5:17 – 25 So David inquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand? And the LORD said to David, Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand. (v.19 NKJV) The Holy Bible in Hebrews 11 verse 6 states - But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.(NKJV). I see David exhibiting strong faith in this scripture under study. Will you do same? The Philistines sought to kill David when they heard he had been made the king of Israel. They spread out across the valley of Rephaim- this could be very intimidating; a fearful heart could break down at the news and sight of such plans. What news have heard? What plots are against you? David could not be broken that easily; he rather sought GOD’S face and he got an assurance from GOD before moving against his enemies to fight and he won. This is David’s great faith in GOD. After he defeated this people the first time, they came again at another time, and David consulted GOD again; this time the LORD gave him a different strategy to operate with and he defeated his enemies again. The plots against you may be in different dimensions but GOD will give you victory over the enemy’s plans. The GOD that was with David during those years is the same GOD this time. In Christ Jesus, HE made HIMSELF more available to us; and every one that calls unto HIM through Christ has been assured of salvation from the plans and works of the enemy (the devil) and his wicked workers. The strategies to come out successfully and victoriously from all wicked plots are in Christ in GOD. Learn to seek Him for divine direction as you continue in faith in Him. You may be in the middle of making a decision, seek the LORD and HE will give you divine direction in Jesus name. Amen! Ask the LORD for insight into HIS will this time in your life. You shall be saved in Jesus name. Amen!
