FAITH KEEPS HOPE ALIVE-Acts 27:21-25-In the most difficult situation faiths keeps you going.The man of faith never loses hope even when the situation seems terribly hopeless.The hope of God believer is hinged on Gods faithfulness as affirmed in Hebrews 10:23,Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering(For He is faithful who promised).To buttress this point,I would like to recall two incidents.In the first case,a man living in North Central Nigeria for a ministration.He had a dilapidated Volkswagen Beetle car with worn out tyres and no extra tyre and no money to fix it.Naturally he doubted the possibility of the vehicle to take him on the journey but God told him to proceed.He proceeded in faith and return to base without any hitch.In another testimony, a man of God undertaking an interstate journey during fuel scarcity ran down on fuel on the highway.He still had over 100 kilomerters to reach his destination.God told him he should proceed with the empty tank.Because the Lord has spoken,he proceed and reached his destination without any hitches.In the reading text,Paul found himself in a similar situation when he was sailing to Rome under guard to face trial.The turbulence of the sea was so much that all on board the ship had lost hope of survival with exception of Paul.What is that issue giving you sleepless nights?Hand over to Jesus in faith. Ask God to relieve you of the heavy burden on your mind in Jesus name.Amen
